SUNSTATE UTILTIY MANAGEMENT is one of the largest water, wastewater and monitoring well service companies in Yuma and Southern La Paz Counties. EXPERTISE Sunstate began in 1985 with two wastewater plants in Apache Junction, Arizona. Package plants were a new idea in those days and we have grown as the industry has grown. In late 1990 we visited Yuma, AZ and made a bid for the operations and maintenance of Yuma Proving Grounds Sewer system. We won that bid and every bid since then for a total of 18 years.

Throughout the following years, we have grown. Sunstate now operates 14 wastewater plants with service connections of 4800. This includes Yuma Proving Grounds Army base, which we have operated since January 1991.

We operate 42 water facilities with service connections of 7200. Several small towns and many RV Parks are among our clients. Other clients are two Bureau of Land Management contracts, one in Arizona, and one in California, a contract on Marine Corp Air Station, and water and wastewater operations for the new “Q” Quechan Resort and Casino that recently opened near Winterhaven, California.

Sunstate provides billing services for 8 clients with a total of 2000+ connections. We handle customer service, depsoits, connections, disconnects, repairs, and complaints. Some of our clients have us handle all financial situations, and some have us make deposits only. We can design the best customer service and requirements for your system.

Sunstate also samples and delivers water tests to laboratories for other clients throughout the county. Real Estate clients depend on us to deliver a third party sample for their closing needs.

We hold your records in our office and can place ADEQ or EPA required documents on our website. Consumer Confidence Reports (CCRs) can also be found there for ease in customer notifications.
